At Invictus Fire Safety we are an independent fire safety company mainly serving clients throughout Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Herts, Bucks and London.

We help our clients to comply with their regulatory requirements and to provide them with efficient and pragmatic solutions to improve safety and reduce risk. Our lead assessor is an approved life safety risk assessor with the I.F.E (institute of fire engineers) and an ex-fire service fire safety officer.

It is a requirement of the Fire Safety Order that all ‘responsible persons’ carry out a fire risk assessment of their premises in order to ensure the safety of all employees and other ‘relevant persons’.

Make the First Move

Residential Care & Nursing Homes

As well as identifying potential fire risks we will look in depth at the management of fire safety, particularly focusing on the evacuation strategy and training of staff.

HMOs & Student Accommodation

We will confirm the correct evacuation policy is in place, taking consideration of the age of the building, its design and the current fire safety measures.

Schools & Academies

Arson is a genuine threat to schools; our fire risk assessment will undertake a detailed external assessment to help identify any measures that can be introduced to reduce the likelihood of arson.

High Rise & Low-Rise Flats

We undertake an assessment of the common parts, including service risers, plant room areas, common escape routes and a percentage of the flat entrance doors. We will visually assess the external of the building, and if required make recommendations for a further specialist assessment of the external wall system (EWS).

Leisure and Community Centres

We will ensure that the Responsible Person has in place; policies and fire procedures to ensure that all building users are informed of the fire safety requirements for the premises.

Industrial & Commercial Premises

Focusing on ignition sources and any high-risk processes you operate; we will also look at the fire emergency procedures you have in place. How you communicate emergency plans and train your staff.

We contacted Invictus as we were not happy with the company who were doing our Fire Risk Assessments. The feedback from our managers around the country regarding the company who were completing the FRA’s was that within the document very little information was included so staff were not sure which points needed actioning and which were just recommendations. Invictus were recommended to us and Rob has now completed FRA’s at all 39 of our sites across the UK. The reports we receive are far clearer, recommendations and action points are clearly shown alongside lots of photos to help us understand what we need to do, where and when which makes it far easier to prioritise what we need to change on site. Feedback from our Area Managers regarding Rob has been nothing but positive as he is able to offer them constructive advice, is approachable and very efficient. We are now on our second round of biannual FRA’s and would not look to use any other provider.
