What We Can Offer
Fire Risk Assessments.
What is a Fire Risk Assessment?
A fire risk assessment is a careful look at your premises and the people who use them. It’s about understanding the potential risks, particularly relevant persons who may be classed as high risk, and then improving your fire safety precautions to keep people safe.
Carrying out the assessment.
Our lead assessor, Robert Cowling, is a qualified and approved fire risk assessor with the Institute of Fire Engineers. https://www.ife.org.uk/Fire-Risk-Assessors-Register Our fire safety assessment examines your facilities, processes and assesses any potential risks.
Our fire risk assessment is thorough to ensure your property meets regulatory compliance and includes identifying potential sources of fire, evaluation of emergency routes and exits, fire detection and warning systems and firefighting equipment. We will also assess processes such as the removal or safe storage of dangerous substances and evaluate your emergency fire evacuation plan.
As well as this, we will consider your provision of important information to employees/people on your premises and assess the level and quality of staff fire safety training that you currently provide.
Invictus carry out Fire Risk Assessments at a variety of premises, including

Fire door surveys.
Fire doors play an important and vital role in the overall fire safety within a building. They must be of the correct specification, installed to the required standard and maintained thereafter for the ongoing safety of all the occupants of the building.
Invictus can carry out a fire door survey and produce a comprehensive report of the compliance of your fire doors.
Fire evacuation plans.
Responsible persons are required to plan for the evacuation of all their occupants, including those with disabilities.
Invictus can help you develop clear fire emergency evacuation plans which includes in detail the action to be taken by all staff in the event of fire and the arrangements for calling the fire brigade. Planning must take into account fire notices, such as general fire action signs displayed in correct and prominent positions throughout the premises.
